Santon happy with life at Newcastle

Davide Santon insists he could be very happy with life at Newcastle United anf the husband doesn't have any offers withdraw to Serie A soon.

The Italian concedes he found it hard to enter Alan Pardew's side but feels his probabilities of securing the place from the scratch line-up are increasing following his adaptation on the Premier League.

"Now I am very comfortable," Santon told intervistasportiva.com. "At the beginning I struggled to find space because I still had some problems and since the coach wanted me to comprehend the sort of football they play here these days I'm finding more space and continuity and I'm happy.

"The fans are excellent, really, they give you a crazy charge and incite they no matter if won by you or lose, the stadium always has fifty thousand people.

"I'm really happy here and I'm glad I signed for 5 years with Newcastle."

The Italy under-21 captain also dismissed rumours of any possible move back to Serie A during the summer.

"Come back to Italy? No, presently. Later on you never know, it depends within the opportunities, the good news is I can't contemplate it," he was quoted saying.

"The nation's team? Lets hope an extra shot but I'm not really thinking on the European Championship. I am just interested to play in order to find continuity, if all goes well things will flow from that."

Santon joined Newcastle from Inter Milan last summer for five million pounds, possesses made 18 appearances for the Toon.
